The North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) protects much of the North Devon coast and Braunton Burrows. Although the organisation already had a newsletter in place, it felt it needed to be updated. Salt Media was commissioned to reinterpret the newsletter, resulting in a twice-yearly A5 publication which was more conversational in tone and included original features and photography about activities taking place within the AONB, printed on uncoated stock to feel natural and earthy. The new publication came to be held up as an example of excellent practice to AONB organisations across the country.
